Jeremy Young, Minister

Jeremy Young hails from Buffalo, West Virginia. Jeremy and his wife Laura have been married over 16 years and have two children, Linda and Leia. Jeremy is a graduate of the West Virginia School of Preaching and has been preaching the Gospel for over 17 years. He has worked with congregations of the Lord’s church in Ohio, Kentucky and West Virginia. Jeremy and his family are excited to be a part of work being done in Marshall, Michigan and will be working with the Elders, Deacons and the members of the congregation to bring the Gospel to the lost. He is looking forward to helping the church continue to grow spiritually and strengthen the bonds they have as the family of God.

  Lowell Greene, Outreach Minister

Lowell and his wife, Faye are both from Michigan, but they moved to Texas in their twenties and were baptized into Christ at the Cameron Road Church of Christ in Austin, Texas, on September 7, 1969. He graduated from the Preston Road School of Preaching, Dallas, Texas, in 1973. While in school, he preached in Coppell, Texas. Since that time he has preached in Deer Creek, Oklahoma, Molalla, Oregon and Houghton Lake, Michigan. Lowell and Faye have been members of the Marshall congregation since October, 2001. Lowell and Faye have three sons, Todd, Travis and Timothy. They also have six grandchildren, Acacia, Arica, Mitchel, Damien, Soren and Rebecca. They lost one granddaughter, Chelsea, to SIDS in 1992

 Dan Bigelow, Elder

Dan Bigelow and his family have been members at the Marshall congregation since 1976, when Dan and his wife of 41 years, Tina, were both converted. Dan has served as an elder for 11 years. He was born in Sault Ste. Marie, MI but grew up in Fairborn, OH. Dan has worked for the Kellogg Company in Battle Creek for 38 years where he is currently a Senior Quality Ingredient Manager. He and Tina have two grown children. Shannon and her husband, Jason Currie, have two sons, Taylor and Jack, and reside in Ft. Wayne, IN. Jason is serving the East Allen church as a Deacon. Brad and his wife, April, and their daughter Mallory and son Brady live in Oxford, MI. They are active in the Waterford church of Christ and Brad is a Deacon. Brad is the Principle at Clear Lake Elementary. Dan's goals for the Marshall church are to see everyone reach their full potential in the Lord and that everyone would find a work and be busy serving the Lord to their fullest potential.

 John Torrey, Elder

John and his family have been members at Marshall Congregation since 1982, when he and his wife of 30 years Marilyn, were both converted by some very dear friends. John has served as the Benevolence coordinator for the past 26 years and in 2004 was appointed as an Elder. John and Marilyn have three grown children. Kelly is married to Kyle Brisson and they have two children, Kooper & Karyssa; Bradley Torrey; and Brian Torrey is married to Angie and lives in Ft. Wayne, IN with son Collin. John works for the Battle Creek Federal Center in Battle Creek MI. John retired from the U.S. Air Force / Air National Guard in 2007 after serving 34 years as Jet engine mechanic. John goals for the Marshall church are to build on the Lord's family in truth an in spirit and in number.  Thomas Rome Sr., Deacon

Thomas Rome Sr. and his family have been members at the Marshall congregation since 1986, when Thomas and his wife of 26 years, Katrina were married. Thomas was converted in 1993 and Katrina was converted when she was a teenager. Thomas has served as treasurer since 2003 and became a deacon in 2011. Thomas is currently employed at GT Technologies in Westland, MI since 2006 as a Product Design Engineer. Thomas and Katrina have 4 children. Stephanie and her husband Zach Higgins, Jennifer Rome, Thomas Rome II, and Deborah Rome .

 Stephen W. Page, Deacon of Worship

Steve and his wife Brenda started worshiping with the Marshall congregation in 1987. Steve is a Hearing Healthcare Provider with SONUS Hearing Care. He manages both the Grand Rapids and Kalamazoo locations. Brenda is an Executive Administrative assistant with the Foundation for Behavioral Resources at Forest Academy in Kalamazoo. They have two children; Wesley and Christopher. Wes holds a welding certificate and enjoys working outside. Chris is a host/ server at Applebee’s in Battle Creek, and enjoys interacting with people. Steve and his family live in Battle Creek at Beadle Lake where they enjoy fishing, boating and other water sports. Steve’s goal for the Church in Marshall is to spread the word of God throughout our community and bring the lost to Christ.
